Step 1: Choose the Room You Want to Focus On
Before opening Pinterest, get clear on which room you're decorating. Is it your bedroom, living room, office, or entryway? Having a specific room in mind will help you stay focused and curate images with purpose.
Pro Tip: You can repeat this process for every room in your home—just create a separate board for each one!
Step 2: Define the Mood You Want to Feel in the Space
Ask yourself:
How do I want to feel when I walk into this room?
Calm? Energized? Cozy? Inspired?
What colors or textures help bring that feeling to life?
The mood will guide your selections, helping you choose images that align emotionally with your space.
